Since 2013, Disco Volante in Vienna-Mariahilf has stood for Neapolitan pizza, high-quality ingredients, genuine craftsmanship and a very special atmosphere.
The centerpiece of our restaurant is our extraordinary, custom-made southern Italian wood-fired oven in the shape of a giant disco ball. Inside, our pizzaioli bake Neapolitan pizzas daily with extensive experience, high-quality ingredients, and genuine respect for the craft.
We place great importance on the quality of our products. We've known many of our suppliers personally for years, and some have been working with us since we first opened. Our team is also an important part of Disco Volante: some of our employees have been with us since the very beginning. These long-standing relationships and the people behind the pizza continue to shape the restaurant today.
But Disco Volante is more than just a pizzeria. Here, Italian pizza tradition meets Viennese lifestyle: lively, uncomplicated, warm, and full of personality.

VOLANTE stands for Neapolitan pizza, Italian food culture, genuine craftsmanship and the passion to bring people together.
It all started in 2013 with the Volante disco in Vienna-Mariahilf. Our passion for Neapolitan pizza and gastronomy has, over the years, grown into an entire VOLANTE family.

Austria's first Neapolitan pizza school. Here, our pizzaioli share their knowledge in pizza courses, workshops, corporate events, and team-building activities.
