VOLANTE stands for the perfect Neapolitan pizza. The best dough, high-quality ingredients, regional products.

As one of the first Neapolitan pizzerias in Vienna, we've been working for almost 13 years to create the perfect pizza. No compromises, and no need to dwell on dough preparation, cold fermentation, or baking temperatures. We know our craft; these fundamental requirements for a truly good pizza go without saying.

Our oven is a custom-made piece from a southern Italian oven builder and is fired with beech wood. Working with it requires a great deal of experience and is an art in itself.

We employ the best pizzaioli in Vienna, who have learned their craft from the ground up and perfected it over many years. From dough production to baking in the wood-fired oven.

We've cultivated our supplier relationships for meat, cheese, vegetables, spices, wine, juice, and beer for years; we know most of our producers personally. Things are always busy here, which requires daily preparation and production. No ingredient—except for the dough—stays in the cold storage for long.

Last but not least, VOLANTE also stands for a fantastic, well-coordinated, and long-standing service team. Many of our employees, from the kitchen staff to the service manager, have been with us since our opening day on July 11, 2013.

All these individual ingredients make us who we are, and are appreciated by our guests. We are proud of that.
